A plain sheet writes the cloth that stays on the line and the cloth taken off it, and it names the day that sheet stops.
The sheet has four columns: names kept, names taken off, the day it was written, and the day it stops. The taken-off column sits on the same page as the kept column, so a refused cloth is not mistaken for an accepted one. The sheet is not a price list and not a garment catalog. After the stop date, the sheet remains only as a record that it ended. It is no longer the current note.
